My Top 3 Best Beaches in Aruba

Eagle Beach is popular and active. Water sports are popular here.

It’s no secret that Aruba is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean. You can visit Palm Beach, near the resorts and be right in the center of the action. If you want to leave the crowds behind you can hit some of the out of the way spots like Arashi Beach or Baby Beach. The wonderful thing about the beaches in Aruba is that it has a diverse range of beaches. This means that literally there is one for whatever type of beach you love. There is the north-east coast which is rugged and mostly used for windsurfing, the secluded Black Stone Beach, and the with soft powdery sand beaches. Of course all of them feature the beautiful turquoise waters that Aruba is famous for. These three beaches I am going to share with you here are my 3 favorite, each for different reasons.

Eagle Beach

Eagle Beach is not only my top pick, but it's consistently listed as one of the top 5 beaches in the world by Travel Channel for many years in a row now. Trip Advisor rates Eagle Beach as the third best beach in the world! This picture perfect beach faces northwest, and offers up an unbeatable view of the azure blue Caribbean waters. It is in my opinion the ideal place to capture that perfect picture of the perfect Caribbean sunset. Eagle Beach is located just south of Palm Beach.

Baby Beach

Rodgers Beach right next to Baby Beach, Aruba

Baby Beach is located at the southernmost point of the Island. It is by far the best beach in Aruba for families. It’s a picture perfect spot to go swimming and snorkelingg. The name, Baby Beach, is due to the fact that its waters are less than five feet deep, and never any high waves. Thus making this spot one of the best for having young children romp about and to snorkel. The man-made reef, it is a great place to learn how to snorkel and swim. You will be able to get up close to beautiful sea life, and the clear water allows for a great view through your snorkel mask.

Baby Beach is also a favorite spot for the local people to visit. It's quite fun and easy to start up a conversation with a local family and you will see firsthand how wonderful the Aruban culture is. You will certainly fall in love with them as I have! Tip: sometimes Baby Beach can be a bit crowded. Located just 1 minute west of Baby Beach is the little known Rodgers Beach. If your finding just a few too many people for your liking, head on over and enjoy some relative solitude at Rodgers Beach.

Arashi Beach

The rugged area of Arashi is perfect for snorkeling

Arashi beach, which is one of the northernmost beaches on the island, has both the powdery soft sand traditional beach area, but also has more rugged areas that are perfect for snorkeling.

Arashi Beach is also a great spot to enjoy the epic vistas and sunsets that the Caribbean has on offer. The California Lighthouse is located just a few minutes from Arashi Beach, so when your all finished with the Beach, head up to view this gorgeous, freshly renovated beacon.

Whatever style Beach that you are looking for, you are certain to find your favorite in Aruba.
