What to do in the case of an Emergency in Aruba

No matter how careful we are, how meticulously we plan, emergencies do happen sometimes during our travels. It can be a frightening situation as we have recently witnessed with the devastating hurricanes that have hit us this season. These situations are nerve-racking enough, but when you are far from home, in a foreign country, an emergency can be devastating. Here's what to do in case of an emergency in Aruba.

First off, I know it sounds cliche', but it's the best advice period! Don't Panic. A clear mind will get you much further then a if you are in a state of panic and having difficulty focusing on what exactly you need to do in the situation.

Print off this post and keep it tucked away when you travel to Aruba. Also it's a good practice to make copies of your important documents such as your Passport, Drivers License, and of course your Itinerary. Keep these copies separate from your Originals in case of loss or theft.

Hopefully you will never need this information, but it's good to have knowledge of who, what, and where when you are in a different country. Happy and safe travels!
